THE STORY OF THE BIBLE PEOPLE

This book has been starred because we think there is a definite need and place for it, therefore you will have to look it over carefully and decide as to whether it fits your needs. If the volume is attractive looking with its illustrations by Raymond Lufkin good sales are possible. At any rate it should be an excellent library item. The suggestions for readers at the end show exactly what the author had in mind ""not so much a book of Bible stories as the story of the people without whom there would have been no Bible"". In the last section is a Reading Record where the children can mark stories heard or read; a Memorising Record; a list of the books of the Bible and what they contain; a Time-Ladder; a list of hints to teachers or parents; a list of other books recommended. I want to use this with my ten year old this winter; it appears to be exactly what we need.
