Author Bloom, working through the International Criminal Police Commission, and interviewing some of these unofficial money-makers, cites cases involving philatelic forgeries; the strange account of Beraha, whose gold sovereigns were more valuable than those of the Royal Mint and other masterminds who perpetrated currency crimes.
