A splendid selection of sports stories many of which will read well next year or the years after. Frank Adams, Quentin Reynolds and John Chamberlain again choose the prize stories, and they are somewhat more in agreement on their inclusions this year- but sports lovers will have their own preferences. The newspaper stories, all written at the time of play, read as well as the magazine tales. There may be too much about baseball for scme -- but never enough for the fans. The football stories are good but not as good as the baseball; some excellent fight stories, one good one of golf, a wonderful one on skiing, etc.
