The author explores the properties both real and imaginary of a feather, an , a rubber band, a daisy, a key and many more ""findable"" items in verse form to prove what every imaginative child knows:- that the most mundane objects hold hidden surprises and possibilities for anyone with enough time and curiosity to notice. Erik Elevgad's drawings are perfectly attuned to the spirit of the poetry which recalls a time when children could amuse themselves with a ball of string, a penny or a piece of clay.
