KIRKUS REVIEW

This book provides a photographic visit to the zoo. The brief text accompanying each photograph mentions a few observable facts about the animal which a young child might be expected to make. Most of Isabel Gordon's photographs bring out well the basic characteristics of the animals; the height of the giraffe, the whiteness of the polar bear, and so forth, and the text and photographs go together well. This book would be especially popular with the three or four year old who has recently gone on a zoo trip.
