KIRKUS REVIEW

A lovely small volume of maxims and thoughts, each brief, concise, and to the point. The author, a man of sixty, has gained through life great wisdom and his commentary on all and sundry, both abstract and concrete, contains much that is profound and frequently clever. The sayings are most nearly comparable to those of Tagore, but have in addition a certain lightness, gentle irony, which give them increased charm. An excellent gift book item.
