COUNT-A-SAURUS

The dinosaurs featured here are real enough, but their treatment is pure fun: ""One Stegosaurus standing in the sun""--on the beach, wearing sunglasses; ""Two Compsognathus always on the run""--in running shoes, carrying a huge ice-cream cone; up to ""Ten Hadrosaurids sporting funny hats""--their variously shaped crests. The large beasts are colored bright, unlikely colors and sport across the pages in a manner sure to bring joy to dinosaur lovers. Pronunciations are included; an ""append-a-saurus"" tells a little more about each creature but omits full explanation of the brontosaurus confusion, although the now-official name, Apatosaurus, is included.
