Sloane, decorator, has produced again this year a model house called House of Years. The authors of this book were the creators of this model house, and the shortcomings of the one are apparent in the other:- i.e. a tendency to be somewhat ""stunty"" -- a bit too much ""top dressing"" for the average taste. One constructive feature of the book is found in the right and wrong illustrations. Another in the workable schemes of rooms. Many people with a certain background of knowledge will find the book helpful. To those with no equipment, it might be inadequate and misleading.
