Too many others have leapt over the wall ever since Monica Baldwin for this to have any real revelatory value although the times have opened up new areas for doubting disaffection -- the pill, chastity, etc. Still it is probably the arbitrary way in which certain decisions were made -- who would serve where and what Nancy who became Sister Dolores should study after she was sent to college -- that promoted her ultimate decision. Before then and in some detail she follows the regimen of the postulant (prayers and study periods; corrections and penances; meals and some lighter occasions such as concerts or sledding). But her earlier discomfort with incidentals such as her dingy habit led to her more important questioning of irreconcilables of a higher nature. There are a good many nonesuch details (along the lines of personal hygiene) which may personalize the experience for those outsiders looking in. Otherwise it is quite unexceptional.
