can perhaps be rendered most effectively with organ accompaniment, for both story and style recall the tearful hours of soap opera. Will Lonna, adopted daughter of the Hendersons, marry wealthy Stanley Lowell? Will Stanley's mother, socialite and student of geneaology, overlook Lonna's background and stress her talent as a singer instead? Happily for Lonna, the answer is a resounding yes to both questions despite the attempts of her jealous half-sister Sally to thwart the romance. Apologies abound and Lonna forgives all. Strengthened by the discovery that her grandmother was a great singer (her real family suddenly makes a warm appearance on the scene) and offered the opportunity to further her career, Lonna chooses Stanley's embrace. Much unintended humor is afoot in this attempt at human drama which can have appeal only for the nost naive.
