KIRKUS REVIEW

Despite younger brother Greg's trepidation, sister Talley leads him further and further from the trail in search of lizards to sell to the pet store. Two lizards are bagged, a prize bluebelly gets away, and the kids get lost just as Greg had feared--but his knowhow gets them back to their waiting bikes. Everyday adventure, with a thin thread of tension, a wee jot of humor, a few tips on lizard catching: mildly agreeable, but nothing to go out of your way for.
