A comprehensive answer book to all questions concerning the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, soon to celebrate its second birthday. The origins and ""Mother"" of the WAACS, Edith Nourse Rogers, the work the WAACS do, where they are used, a representative enrollee and her training as an auxiliary or as an officer candidate, what she studies and where, what they should know about military courtesy and customs, etc. The book includes a who's who, the organization of the WAAC, code of conduct, and a bibliography. An interesting, informative manual of a new venture, still in the process of forming its tradition and etiquette, and one which is still pioneering in the special consideration of women's individual problems under military organization. Good for prospective recruits, high school girls.
