Both for information and as a Bible of behavior, this has its value in emphasizing the tension and strain the husbands, in their type of Service, encounter and the problems the women must face and the important role they play. There is common sense about engagements, weddings, financial questions, the questions of entertaining and social requirements, life on and off the base, in occupied areas, and in Washington, D.C., the changing of stations and what that entails, etc., etc.
