I KNOW A DENTIST

On one of Sally's regular visits to Dr. Jenkins and his assistant Mrs. Gold, the dentist gives her a red pill to detect dental plaque, shows her how to brush her teeth, cleans them and tells about the instruments he uses in the process, takes an X-ray, and fills a small cavity. ""Since the cavity is so small, [it won't hurt]. If you had a deeper cavity I would give you an injection so you wouldn't feel the drilling."" The patient Dr. Jenkins also explains all the factors that determine whether you get cavities (heredity, brushing, diet, fluoride), and Sally, who's been ""very comfortable"" throughout, determines to follow all his advice. Styleless, but usable.
