KIRKUS REVIEW

The appeal of a litter of fluffy kittens, a gentle old Cape-Codder, and a storm swept island all contrive here to charm and beguile in this first joint attempt by author Natalie Norton and her illustrator husband Will Huntington. Washed through with color, this tells the story of a lonely man and his search for a feline friend. When a storm sweeps his tiny island, he loses everything, but he finds, with the storm's aftermath, a comforting resolution to his loneliness. Warmth and light filter gently through the simple basic vocabulary of this book.
