TO THE VICTOR

Nine short to long stories, all of which revolve around romance and about half of which derive from the southern horse and hunting set. There's the glamor of thoroughbred horses -and spartan girls for whom the sheen of pink satin dims in the danger of the sport; there's a stray cat to unite and reunite a stray couple; there's a brother and a possessive sister -and a girl; there's a college student who does not learn out of books; etc...Maybe no laurels -but the seal of rental approval.
