ONCE UPON A SUMMER

Still in the soap opera field, this however has none of the bnoxious qualities of that type and its lack of vulgarity, sensationalism and triteness is welcome in romance. For Dan Collier's young wife. Kay, resents living in Windover where Dan had summered, is jealous of Dan's old friendship with Christina and almost creates a scandal when her immaturity drives her to indiscretion. But Dan, with Christina's help, is able to handle Kay properly and the death of Christina's husband marks a new era for all three. A real sense of a Berkshire town and a mature approach to the problems of marriage and friendship, this is a safety for libraries and rentals.
