The Glenn Domans of the potty chair (who also initially worked with retarded children) have clearly itemized the above procedure from the intensive few hours you will spend to the instant results you will obtain. After including some harried letters from mothers and describing the old method -- kind words of approval to disapproval (theirs sound the same, by the way) -- they start with the 20-monther, lots of tasty drinks and candies and snacks in the kitchen, a wetting doll as a model, and a very del-i-hire course of instruction on the right words and manual guidance to be used. There's even a diploma to be filled in and framed once you've successfully overcome the problem of five o'clock shadow. A Newsweek article has preceded this with Foxx & Azrin and a pair of successfully trained twins even if one of them is sucking his thumb.
