RAND MCNALLY VACATION GUIDE by National Recreation Association

Where to go- what to see- how to get there, text and regional maps -- but not a Blue Book nor yet a Road Atlas. Frankly, aside from use by someone who has a vacation in view, a car, and no specific ideas, I can't see much of a market. The major part of the text is regional material; pick your area and read about the highspots and the pertinent information regarding it. Meditate the possibility of a transcontinental tour, and consult the data on planning your trip and the tour map showing cross-country tours and alternate routes. Have a look too at the seven suggested tours, then check again the regional summaries, the special events calendar and so on. Then get further material you'll need for the vacation you've picked. Paper-bound pamphlet.
