KIRKUS REVIEW

Third in a now famous series, this carries the same pattern over into collegiate circles, with birds and beasts portraying typical situations and text enlivening the pictures. The adaptation of photograph to caption has perhaps lost its freshness, but there are some entries that qualify with the best -- the professor giving the sound of the French ""eu"" is almost a prize winner in any language -- and on the whole it is the adult world of instructors who come off the best. Still a surely saleable article, and one that offers the chance of the new market of colleges, this again proves that picture books are the anodyne of the day.
