Without any approach to acting or writing or any practical tips on production, McCaslin simply summarizes a number of possible dramatic activities from loosening up exercises to writing and performing an original play. Thus groups or individuals might act out different feelings, situations or occupations, impersonate appliances (!), musical instruments or colors, play charades, do ""story theater"" with pantomime and a narrator, dramatize a myth or put on a puppet show. McCaslin pads her suggestions with sample folk tales for story theater or dramatization and descriptions of different kinds of masks, puppets, etc., but she offers no real directon and certainly no inspiration.
