A thin and hastily plotted confection for teen-age girls, this story combines love tremors with airy chatter. Linden Bradley had her share of family troubles, as not only was her attractive young aunt, (housekeeping for Lin, her younger brother and sister while the Bradley parents were away), proving to be extremely difficult to live with, but financial troubles brought on by sheer stupidity which smashed hopes for a carefree summer forced the Bradleys to open a fruit stand to pay the rent. However, the cooperative project proves to be fun, and with the help of good-looking Skee Lewis, Lin's predatory friend Bette, who has her eye on handsome Jot, and the Bradley family, the stand produces profits. Also, Lin helps to clear the clouded romance of her aunt and lure Skee into the net. Several implausible elements and vapid characters bring this down to the slick level.
