KIRKUS REVIEW

The Diva has collected one of her best country housefuls of witty-to-faintly-loony toffs and rum beings of lower estate -- and it's all so dashed entertaining you'll hardly notice the murder of someone not terribly important anyway. Ms. Marsh strews clues like the ""swags of fir"" which deck the halls of dilettante Hillary whose domestic staff comprises paroled murderers. The victim is fatally ""thunked"" at a Christmas entertainment while performing in Druid gear and the Alleyns sort it all out. Mince pie for the cult.
