SLAVERY AND FREEDOM

This is the confession of faith of a Russian philosopher and a mystic, who acknowledges his indebtedness both to Tolstoi and Marx, to Boehme and Kant. Slavery and freedom are interpreted in terms of the human personality, with God described as man's ultimate liberator. This is certainly original and interesting thinking, but it will be chiefly students of religion and philosophy who will be able to follow the reasoning of this truly great mind.
