KIRKUS REVIEW

Finely written wits-twister in the murder of a fearless, fascinating wanton, corrupted as an adolescent, in her brother's English country house. Nigel Strangeways is on the premises which include family and friends:- a lover, a doctor theoretically breaking her of cocaine, a twin brother who adores her, another brothers and sister-in-law who might profit from her death make sex, money and drugs in about even distribution as motive. Surprise shake-up at the finish. Exceptionally fine job.
