KIRKUS REVIEW

Excellent book consisting of balanced menus for every day in the year, and 1047 tested recipes accompanying the menus. The perfect book for the jaded housekeeper, whose imagination has gone dry; a book which should give any housekeeper a fresh view, or prove invaluable to the tea room director, who wants to establish a reputation for good home cooking, with variety and taste. Not a how to do book, though the recipes are simple and easy to follow. Nor yet a book for the gourmet, as the majority of the menus are based on American household equipment and preference.
