KIRKUS REVIEW

A cat (with nine lives) and mouse chase, this tells of Dick Barton's assignment to identify some surviving, subversive Nazi forces. Tabbing, losing his quarry and next finding him dead, Barton uses the few leads left by the murdered man, and as these tenuous associations prove to be the right ones, his mission is finally successful. For those who have liked the Manning Coles series, this will be a welcome, less providential and agile variation.
