It is high time there was a good teen age level biography of Lenin, but somehow this doesn't quite fill the bill. It seems spotty and insufficiently dramatic in the light of available material. The author has failed to be objective enough, to put aside the internal schisms which blur the clear picture for a reader who probably is not aware of ""sealed train"" significance (or let's say interpretation), nor is he able to unravel the intricacies in which party conflicts involve him. There is fire enough in the story of the man and the movement to stir the imagination of any child. It is lost here in a long-drawn out, detailed and slightly sentimentalized handling.
