KIRKUS REVIEW

Third rate mystery story of the sad little girl next door, overworked, and abused by an impossible aunt. And of the mysterious Russian visitor who decided, out of hand, to adopt her, once she had been rescued by an opportune accident, and who turns out to be her father, a Russian Prince of the days of the Czar. Far fetched, unconvincing in development, and not much of a story into the bargain.
