THE UNFAIR SEX

A not too prim ""Primer for Young Women"" provides the more vulnerable virgin with a defense against men who ""seek to obtain at no cost what they should pay with their lives"". Disposing of misconceptions and prevalent propaganda (how poor is the best that mother knows), she goes on to throw the ring and the book at the male adversary-his strategies, lines, devices; demonstrates how to invite aggression and counter with passive resistance; indicates the consequences of giving and the pleasures of refusing; charts a straight and narrow line to the altar which detours apartments, married men, bosses, etc.... Armature for iron maidens, this has its moments of intimate impudence and the line drawings by Doty are in the mood.
