JAPANESE FLOWER-ARRANGEMENT by Nina Powell

JAPANESE FLOWER-ARRANGEMENT

By

Publisher: Scribner

This differs from most of the books on Japanese flower arrangements in that it concentrates first on the history and development of the various schools- and then settles down to specifies in the school. At this point, rules and techniques, materials and their preparation, certain floral material and how to use it, are given due emphasis. But in the main this is less of a how-to book, than a book establishing the philosophy and psychology of Japanese flower arranging.
