KIRKUS REVIEW

Sazer's fanciful watercolor smudges in tissue-paper shades are designed to represent creatures you'd scarcely recognize as ""one silly bear/with red curly hair/and a great big shiny blue nose"" or ""two pink llamas/in purple pajamas/ dancing around on their toes."" This goes up to ""ten kangaroos/with striped tennis shoes/having a marshmallow roast""--and though we wouldn't want to roast such an unassuming bit of frippery, it won't go any further than these eight colored birds' ""tweetle and twittle and toot.
