The glamour profession again and a sky-rocket climb to fame in a disappointing career-romance by this well-known author. Lynn Hopewell, airily confident of lightning success as a model moves from small-town New Falls to New York City and finds that neither pavement pounding nor faith opens the doors of the agencies and photographers. So on to modeling school, Correct Mental Outlook, and a fairy tale ending as Lynn is ""discovered"", hits a magazine cover, becomes Miss Silkasheen, and hooks the dream-boy. Some breathless views of modeling school but altogether too much gilding of an over-crowded, difficult profession, for any real value as a career book.
