ARE CHILDREN NEGLECTING THEIR MOTHERS?

Hadley Baxendale, M.D., Ph.D.--and goodness knows what or who else is lurking behind that degreed moniker--must be a descendant of that famous barrister involved in a common law case re shafts. This one is about various aspects of the new emancipations and ad-Libs on some of the issues around . . . the house: ""There is a lot of dirty linen in the world and girls are biologically ordained to do the laundry."" This is only one aspect of female abuse or neglect (after all women become latchkey mothers as soon as the young are able to take off to the ball park) or subjugation (they should get more than equal pay since they have to moonlight at home when they're off the job) and there's no end to their suffering beginning with their envy of that ""versatile, convenient and outstanding organ."" A send-up of course, but Baxendale is a little more serious in his attack against the Church--cf. the chapter on abortion--""Does Semen Have a Soul?"" Still for the most part this is for that before-or-after-dinner break for anyone who feels like lowering their consciousness at the end of that never-ending day.
