STICKS ACROSS THE CHIMNEY

A widowed mother and her two children struggle to keep up with the bare necessities of life in a house on the edge of the graveyard of the Vikings -- a place considered haunted by the neighbors. The boy has imagination and a good head on his shoulders and helps pull the little family out of the doldrums, with the inspiration of his mother's fine spirit and the challenge of the good omen of the stork's nest. There's a mystery -- some adventure -- and a fairy tale ending, that might be true. Authentic Danish background.
