ONLY THE MOUNTAINS REMAIN

Yee-ip-ippity. Open the corral gate, cowboy, and let my herd of memories through"" extends an invitation to those who want to share Mrs. Bowman's life on the Utah Construction Company ranches-a sizeable operation. A trip to visit friends ended in her marriage to Archie and a life 100 miles from nowhere; and this tells of her adjustment to a home on the range. There is incidental information on the ranches in these holdings, on lambing and broncobusting, on local events and characters- occasionally dangerous, in what is at best a sketchy catchall of keepsakes- largely of interest to the author, her family and friends.
