KIRKUS REVIEW

A special market in this doggy story for adult admirers of the ragged, whiskery charm of the Scotty. But children should enjoy the happy surprises when Lin the Scotty rescues one of Mrs. Twinkle's wild bird friends from Mr. Tomcat and finds her lost ring in a doughnut. So Lin is allowed to play in the yard, watch his friends the birds, and sometimes Mrs. Twinkle presents him with a bone --much better for a dog than doughnuts.
