THIS LITTLE PIG WENT TO MARKET: Play Rhymes

Even baby-scoffers will be tempted to try this collection of English and Scottish nursery rhymes programmed for play--for toe and finger counting, tickling, foot patting, rocking, leg wagging, face tapping, finger play (the most), hand clapping, jig jogging (almost as many), and just plain singing and dancing. The favorites that everyone forgets parts of are here, and many new to the States--all with instructions, sometimes with variations. The first singing games are good for nursery school (the tunes will have to be sought elsewhere, but most are well-known) and the balance is a boon for tired mothers, doting grandmas and despairing baby sitters. And it looks good enough to make a different baby gift.
