THE YEARS UNDER THE EARTH

A geologist, a scientist and an adventurer, Casteret is a Frenchman, renowned chiefly for his discovery of the cavern of Montespan, and the oldest known historic drawings. Caverns, chasms, ice caves, 500 underground caverns and water courses in all, have supplied his source material for studies of prehistoric magic and art, prehistoric man and beast, stalactites, magnetic springs, flower crystals, etc. The book is gauged to the interest of the layman. Interesting -- but limited in appeal.
