WHEN THE LIGHTS GO UP AGAIN

Sisters under each others skins -- Harriet, Lynne and Babsie, who have achieved a home together after years of being farmed out. They acquire a farm in Texas, and find that Harriet, the eldest, has become hard, sharp and very determined. She tries, not too scrupulously, to direct their lives and romances -- and fails; her farming methods prove profitable but unethical and incur local antagonisms. A final interference causes Babale's death, and Harriet, definitely sadder and wiser, allows Lynne to find a perfect marriage with Bruce. Average, for rentals.
