Nobel Prize Peace Plan -- awarded December, 1934. A presentation of the conflicting theories concerning the causes of war, and the part played in ""preparedness"" -- and the answers, so introduced as to give the average reader a chance to make his choice. The basic theory behind his plea is international cooperation, as the answer to securing peace. If all armaments were held jointly, no defensive measure for the home territory would be necessary. His final chapter gives categorically, the average arguments presented to refute a plea for peace, and the answers. A good book to suggest to women's clubs.
