KIRKUS REVIEW

Story of a superficial weakling -- a popular actor -- and of a lovely and tragic girl; of their romance, begun light-heartedly, ending in grim tragedy, handled rather brutally, unnecessarily so, it would seem. The sort of book that the average bookshop can do without, but that could probably earn its way in the lending library. Don't place, however, with the saccharine light fiction.
