Thoroughly good entertainment -- guaranteed to give fireside traveler a grand time. The story of a youth who found himself with the inclination, the time and the money to travel, and who travelled until all three were exhausted. He and a chum started off, intending to travel by canoe, but a drought in France slowed them up, so they proceeded by bus or train, third class, to Spain, Portugal and North Africa. Their quarters left much to be desired, but gay good humor, a sense of adventure, a keen interest in the people they met and the customs of the countries they visited carried them through. The tale is told with humorous restraint -- gay rather than ribald in tone -- fun reading. Try it on your Fleming market.
