PACK OF WOLVES by O. Kogusheva

PACK OF WOLVES

By

Publisher: Russian National Edit. -- Berlin

An autobiographical sketch, rather than a book, an account of one woman's harrowing experiences under the Soviet regime. Hysterical, overwritten perhaps, yet nonetheless moving as a human record of suffering. She pictures everyday life in Russia, the lack of employment, lack of food, decline of all moral and ethical standards, criminal indulgences of all sorts. A gruesome and depressing inside story, exaggerated no doubt, but dramatic reading.
