THE CHRISTMAS THAT ALMOST WASN'T

By

Publisher: Little, Brown

Very get-along-little-doggerel that has to do with King Oldwin's being imprisoned by his ""nastiest of nephews"", Evilard, and his resulting program to make everybody miserable which included outlawing Christmas. ""While tyranny triumphed and freedom was furled"".....""Nicholas Knock was firm as a rock/Though only going on eight"" and he was the boy to act fast, so, without a map, he headed to defend and save the old king and Christmas... To ""restore our Yule and upset their rule"" he must find Wenceslaus, avoiding all sorts of dangers and locating the secret hiding place -- and he does. Wenceslaus wakes and rides with all his knights to rescue Oldwin and to restore the beloved celebration.
