PATROL IS ENDED

An English pilot tells of his experiences with the Loyalists in Spain, his years in that war-torn country, on the ground and in the air. Madrid -- San Janvier -- Albaoete -- Manises -- near death many times. It is more than daredevil flying. There is a brief romantic interlude, with a tragic ending. There is imprisonment and release. Surface adventure and spiritual and emotional reactions. Not the usual journalistic job, but a semi-artistic one (though occasionally a little pseudo).
