Coming in on the caboose -- but nonetheless with full measure of enthusiasm we recommend this excellent collection of Christmas carols -- words and music, in simple arrangements -- with introductory stories giving something of the source of both music and words. With two exceptions, the versions given are the ones most widely known. Most of the old favorites are here, and a number of delightful but less familiar ones are included. The Gustaf Tenggren pictures, full pages in color, and decorations, provide the ideal setting. Board covers -- perishable white background --cloth backbone.
