THE MIRACLE DISH

A reissue of The Miracle, this is a delightful story of a little girl's determination to procure a beautiful fish for her mother's Christmas present. In a snowstorm she buys the present which has cost her hours of work. But she doesn't have money enough to ride home. How she brings her present home safely in a blizzard is told with Floyd I. Webb's lovely wintry black and white line drawings which invest the story with a quaintness and Victorian elegance which seems just right. Very charming-- primarily a little girl's story. Strongly stitched.
