THE FUTURE OF TELEVISION

Pub Date: Oct. 25th, 1942

Ten years ago Orrin Dunlap wrote of the Outlook for Television. Today he analyzes the whys and hows of the future, the possibilities of service and employment, the economic and artistic complexities, the legal aspects, the financial and scientific aspects. He envisions it as one of the great new post -war industries, the theatre of the home, and a tremendous educational force. He then studies the subject in relation to the theatre, the screen, the present type of broadcasting, the world of sports. At the end, he goes a bit too scientific and technical for this reader with the ""hows"" of television in this opening age of electronics. Definitely for people already interested in the subject.
