MIRACLE OF SINAI

A satirical novel which should appeal to the audience that enjoyed FATHER MALACHI'S MIRACLE. Sitwellian characters held up to pitiless spotlighting, -- English, American, simple, complex, mostly frauds and hypocrites, in a de luxe hotel near Mount Sinai. On pleasure bent, they run into a miracle, see the ""graven tablets"" which each interprets to his own interest, and for whose dissolution, all, save one, perish. Satirizes religion, education, morals, ignorance, innocence and vice. Dullish moments and not popular in appeal, but those who liked the earlier Sitwell will like it.
